Identity theft consumer complaint data reports

These reports analyze real FTC consumer identity theft complaints, based on data from the Consumer Sentinel Network and the Identity Theft Data Clearinghouse. These reports only include complaints from people who contacted the FTC and other organizations, and itemize these complaints by category, metropolitan area, state ranking and other criteria. (They do not represent the actual amount of identity theft victims.)
